Pretty cool. I like the subjects you chose. The biggest problem, though, is that it lacks depth. Are you painting this from life or from imagination?
The objects all seem to occupy the same plane. It would be nice if some of them overlapped, or if you moved some of them around on the page (might be a little late for this, but the cross could be extended down and the candles could be moved up. The effort might be worth the results).
Another problem is contrast. I think this would be better if you had more intense light and shadow...If you're painting this from life, it would be neat to see what would happen with those lit candles in a dark room. The background is distracting, too. The yellows are too bright and come forward too much...try toning them down with purple, black, or grey.
