I decided to finally post the steps it took me for this gold fish painting. Simple steps can take You a long way.
I decided to finally post the steps it took me for this gold fish painting. Simple steps can take You a long way.
Steps:
1st- Line art. Create the line art (by coping or tracing an image, if you prefer.) *In a separate layer, and keep layer on top.
2nd-Color. Add solid colors to block the entire figure. *In another separate layer, underneath line art.
3rd-Blending. Blend current color, and add highlights.
4th-Details. Begin adding detail with simple strokes, and increase more highlights. At this stage you can remove the line art.
5th-Final touches. Add final touches. (Sharpen main details, increase hue's in focal points, and soften edges of the fins; blend background with fins to give the blurry illusion)
And finish.
